Dickey III's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

28-year old American power forward James Dickey III (208-F/C-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Metal (#3, 1-1) with 22-point margin 90-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Pelita Jaya to take over top position in the Basketball Champions League Asia. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Pelita Jaya has a very solid 3-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Dickey III turned to be Pelita Jaya's top player in his first season with the team. University of North Carolina at Greensboro graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dickey III is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg,2.5spg and 71.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was KJ McDaniels (197-F-1993). He is American forward in his first season at Pelita Jaya. In the last game McDaniels recorded an impressive double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Dickey III he helped Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta with another comfortable win outscoring NS Matrix (0-4) 95-59. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. McDaniels is a newcomer at Pelita Jaya and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 12.0rpg and 5.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Devon Scott (205-F/C-1994) of BIM Bishrelt Metal Ulaanbaatar (#3). Scott showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Scott's great performance the Metal lost 68-90 to #1 ranked Pelita Jaya. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Metal needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Scott has a great season in Basketball Champions League Asia. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 10.5rpg (4th best) and assists with 5.0apg (3rd best).
